The recent explosive activity in the development and investigation of noninvasive techniques for the evaluation of cardiovascular diseases has produced a rapidly expanding new literature as well as a rekindled interest in older methods. Doctor Weissler's goal in assembling this volume was to provide a critical review of research into the physiologic basis and clinical application of these methods. Included are eight sections covering apexcardiography, kinetocardiography, ballistocardiography, systolic time intervals, external venous and arterial pulses, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and radarkymography.
