Ethical dilemmas in modern biology and medicine seem to mushroom daily. So too does the literature concerning them. It is, therefore, a pleasure to find a concise and clear account of one man's attempt to grapple with the situation. In this little book Dr. Kenneth Vaux, a Presbyterian minister and professor of ethics, out of his experiences at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, brings his ethical and religious insights to bear on these problems. The result is not a handbook of definitive rules and guidelines for specific clinical situations, and as such may be deemed by the busy clinician
