To the editor: The recent paper by Drs. Lindeman and Papper (Ann Intern Med 82:64-70, 1975) deserves correction on several points. A major error in the paper was in dosage of mithramycin, which was incorrectly given as 25 mg/kg body weight, when in reality it is 25 μg/kg body weight (a thousandfold difference). The same error was again made a few lines later when the weekly dosage was given. I would hope that this was a printer's error, but, further, I also do not think that mithramycin should be considered the drug of choice for all hypercalcemia, as hinted at
