The stated goal of this text is to "serve as guide in the management of patients (with bronchogenic carcinoma) and discuss the anticipated results for each stage of the disease according to the therapy used." To this end, the authors have compiled an extensive bibliography with heavy emphasis on diagnostic radiologic procedure and both standard and newer techniques in radiotherapy. As this book is part of a series in diagnostic and therapeutic radiology, this emphasis is understandable; however, from the standpoint of the stated goal, this approach becomes very limited.
