Community health is surely of particular interest to developing countries. This book, designed as a manual of knowledge applicable to community health problems in these countries, proposes to meet the needs of "medical personnel who are now studying in, or who anticipate work within, the less developed countries of the world." The target audience is clearly American, not health workers of the developing countries themselves. Fifteen of the 28 contributors are from the University of North Carolina, 5 from developing countries.
