As we see the new and diffused image of death in our culture, set in relief in the context of modern biomedical and technological interventions (which at times includes morally questionable life prolongations), Beneficent Euthanasia is a timely response indeed to the earlier pleas, both here and abroad, of the Euthanasia Educational Council (of America) and the English Voluntary Euthanasia Society.
