The title may be a little misleading in indicating the scope of this concise summary of vascular physiology and pathophysiology that includes major central circulations as well. Twenty-one contributors have put together a monograph detailing the vascular aspects, primarily arterial, of the circulatory system. The monograph is subdivided into two parts.
