Of the five comprehensive reviews in this issue, only that by J. M. Dwyer, "Identifying and Enumerating Human T and B Lymphocytes," is directly concerned with problems of clinical importance. His review divides into two main sections: methods for study of T and B lymphocyte populations and studies of T and B cell characteristics of malignancies, primary immunodeficiencies, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatic disease.
