Physical findings encountered in general medicine are shown in 812 photographs in this atlas (one of a series put out by Year Book Medical Publishers). Except for a few X rays, almost all the photographs are in color and are reproduced from slides. Accordingly, the book is extraordinarily expensive.
A wide variety of subjects are covered—some very common and unnecessary to show (a rash covered by calamine lotion, calluses, obesity) and some very unusual. The atlas is organized by body area (head, hands, chest, and so forth) and also includes a 30-page section on dermatology and an appendix showing callosities,
