The topic of coronary artery disease is vast and, as pointed out in the preface, a single author cannot attempt to cover all aspects of this entity in a short monograph. Thus, the contents of this book consist largely of the experience of a single acknowledged expert in the field of coronary artery disease and reflect his experiences and biases accumulated from extensive experience in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
