An unconventional but extraordinarily effective atlas: color photographs of bones, regional dissections of cadavers, multi-system regional casts, and a few roentgenographs. The casts deserve special mention for their fine detail, clarity, and forceful presentation of intricate relationships: the bronchi and pulmonary vessels; the liver and the biliary tract; the duodenum and biliary tract; the coronary vessels. The large scale of most of the illustrations permits uncluttered labeling, which preserves clear images. The color reproduction is of high quality, and most of the figures show accurate registration of the color separation images. Some structures are not shown effectively, for example, the
