Dr. Feigenbaum has again succeeded in writing the standard reference text on echocardiography. The second edition of his popular book has been completely revised and now includes relevant information about two-dimensional echocardiography.
The almost encyclopedic coverage includes the history of echocardiography; principles of ultrasound and techniques of the echocardiographic examination; and detailed echocardiographic features of all cardiac structures in health and disease, including a chapter on congenital heart disease and cardiac tumors.
