In the complexity of medical science today, not even a Solomon among editors could judge alone what should go into a journal and what should not. This journal relies greatly on a collective Solomon—hundreds of expert consultants in North America and abroad who give us their critical views on the scientific validity and clinical importance of close to 2000 manuscripts each year. A large part of the value this journal has for its readers is determined by the judgments of these consultants.
