During the past 20 years the immunologic sciences have assumed great importance in clinical medicine. Unfortunately, teaching of clinical immunology in medical schools has been inadequate. A large number of physicians therefore have been handicapped in applying this new knowledge to their patient population. In an attempt to meet this problem, many hard- and soft-cover tests in immunology have appeared recently. The present "test" was designed "to present in self-instruction form the basic elements of immunology" permitting study ". . . with minimal faculty support and the aid of a conventional textbook."
