A new diagnostic dimension has been created by skillful and highly trained gastrointestinal endoscopists in the performance of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). This atlas is a collaborative effort of authoritative contributors in endoscopy and radiology. A brief discussion of the indications and contraindications is followed by a description of endoscopic and radiographic techniques and complications. Line drawings of the embryology and pertinent anatomy of the pancreatic ducts and biliary tree orient subsequent roentgenographic case studies that comprise the major portion of this atlas. The more than 200 large, semigloss illustrations are selected roentgenograms presented as brief case reports of ERCP
