The editor has brought together a distinguished group of authorities in this latest edition of the leading British text on rheumatic diseases. Almost all of the chapters are new, and the book has been thoroughly reorganized. Except for the historical introduction, and Kellgren's classic contribution on pain, most chapters are completely rewritten, and only a very few represent revisions of chapters from the fourth edition.
