After years of collecting cases, Robert Veatch has produced a truly excellent book on medical ethics. Like a good claret come of age, it has been worth waiting for. This is the best and nearly the only collection of case studies in the field of bioethics; and even if there were a great number of others, it would undoubtedly distinguish itself. One hundred twelve problems in medical ethics are encompassed, each presented as a case study followed by an analysis.
