Here are 23 chapters on various aspects of reproduction, each written by an acknowledged authority with a reputation for lucid exposition. In general, it is a comprehensive and entertaining survey of the "state-of-the-art" of reproductive endocrinology up to late 1976.
The editors' intention was to provide a description of advances made during the last decade in the understanding of human reproduction, of interest to students and investigators in reproductive biology as well as to clinicians.
