To the editor: In the editorial, "The Diagnosis of Legionnaires' Disease," in the September issue (1), Iowa was incorrectly listed as a location of a Legionnaires' disease cluster in renal-homograft recipients. The correct list is Kansas, Ohio, and Vermont, in addition to Los Angeles. Case reviews at the University of Iowa Hospitals, the state's only transplantation center, have discovered no cluster. However, three isolated cases of Legionnaires' disease in renal-homograft recipients in the past 3 years have been identified.
