Now in its third edition, Immunological Diseases is a leading textbook that deals with the diverse conditions in which immunologic mechanisms are thought to contribute either to pathogenesis or clinical features.
Half of the first volume is devoted to a review of basic immunology. This section, under the editorship of Dr. David Talmadge, has undergone more extensive reorganization and changes in authorship since the previous edition than have other sections. By itself, this section could be recommended as a brief textbook in immunology. The remainder of the first volume is devoted to nonatopic immunologic disorders, with subsections on responses to
