"Would you like to hear about the pile of paper I found on my desk this morning?" asked the professor on his first day back from studying an outbreak of onomatopeia on Sunshine Island. "It is enough to make me want to go back at once on another field trip."
The temperature outside being 20 °F below zero (not allowing for the wind-chill factor) no one could raise much sympathy for the obviously rested and sun-tanned professor—but no one could restrain him either, so he continued.
