An overview of the radiopharmaceutical agents used for intraabdominal imaging. Each section reviews the biochemistry and pathophysiology involved in the use of organ imaging. Chapters cover radionuclide imaging of the liver, pancreas, spleen, kidney and adrenals; use of gallium 67 citrate; and the use of computed tomography. Useful for those not familiar with the fundamentals of radionuclide imaging, but too general for the specialist.
