A comprehensive, five-volume treatise. The first volume offers basic reviews of immunologic functions with attention to how these relate to cancer biology. Clinical topics are covered mainly in Volumes 3, 4, and 5 with attention to particular diseases such as Hodgkin's disease and melanoma and particular interventions, including immunotherapy, levamisole, and radiation. The cost of the set is relatively high for the content because of use of large typeface, heavy paper, and the division into five volumes.
