In this day of proliferating medical technology, the physician is confronted with a large array of expensive radiologic imaging examinations of which he has little understanding. All too frequently, redundant testing is ordered. The editors of this third volume of Alimentary Tract Radiology have made a noble effort to put some order to the confusion about the relative merits of available imaging techniques of the gastrointestinal tract.
