During the past few years many physicians, in devotion to their hospitals and the medical profession, have been struggling to cope with the concepts and procedures of "accountability and quality assurance." A small number of physicians have devoted almost all of their time and energy to that cause. This book is a diary of one such physician, and his journey into the field, telling of its many problems and his suggested solutions.
