There are several textbooks that emphasize single non-invasive techniques, but few correlate phonocardiography, carotid pulse tracings, and echocardiography for specific cardiac disorders. Dr. Cohen has compiled this atlas to fill the above gap as an aid for interpreting patient studies, to provide a guide and supplement to physical diagnosis in the cardiac patient, and to make correlations between noninvasive studies. The 30 chapters cover normal findings and valvular heart disease most heavily. Cardiomyopathies, pericardial disease, intracardiac tumors, aortic aneurysms, and four common congenital abnormalities in the adult age range are discussed also.
