This long-awaited authoritative treatise has finally been published 11 years after Dr. Braverman's first edition. All 18 chapters maintain a high level of clarity and pace. There are 200 excellent color and 500 black-and-white illustrations, although some of the latter, such as that of Koplick's over buccal mucosa, are less than adequate. Detailed coverage of cutaneous signs of cancer include lymphomas, leukemias, hystiocytosis disorders, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, hypersensitivity, skin erythemas, sarcoidosis, blood vessel disorders, endocrine problems, gastrointestinal diseases, and connective tissue disorders. There are also chapters on cutaneous infections, neurologic syndromes, and neutrophilic dermatoses.
