Nowhere is the problem-oriented case presentation more applicable than in toxicologic emergencies. The book is divided into 10 parts, each part then divided into chapters that start with a case presentation. Each case presentation is followed by questions that attempt to ascertain the differential diagnosis, the critical presentations, management, how common the problem is, and how effective the treatments are. Excellent tables and references are integral parts of each chapter.
