Hardly useful for the practicing internist, this book will appeal to physicians whose hobby or livelihood includes correlation of invasive electrophysiologic events with body surface electrocardiograms and spatial vectorcardiograms. How sad that the author left out rudimentary and detailed diagrams and photographs of gross and micro- anatomy of the heart and its conduction system. This is also true for fundamental electrophysiology. The two introductory chapters narrate rather than communicate and fail to lay a firm foundation for subsequent better chapters.
This book has good examples of intracardiac recordings and will not fail to interest physicians already knowledgeable about invasive and
