For a textbook to be successful, there ought to be some segment of a market to which the new book will appeal. I doubt that this text will find a large market segment because it does not appear to fill any specific needs. It has a soft cover, but is cumbersome and heavy. The book is especially heavy for medical students, ward clerks, and house staff to carry around to the wards, and certainly the book will be shredded if used in a typical hospital or medical office.
More important, none of the sections offer more than any other textbook
