The American College of Physicians, recognizing the increasing role that computer-assisted data management is playing in office operations, patient care, and continuing education, initiated at its last annual session a workshop on "computer literacy." At the 1984 Annual Session (26-29 April in Atlanta) the College is planning a "computer fair" in which major hardware, software, and information vendors will exhibit their products. The fair will also offer attendees an opportunity to experiment with the programs and equipment being shown.
