This excellent reference is, of course, particularly designed for those interested in taxonomy. The introductory chapters are crisply written with an economy of words. One of the few defects is the lack of directions for users of this new addition. Although the text is relatively easy to use and understand for those familiar with the content, the least experienced persons would benefit from a bit more detailed introductions to its use.
The text itself is clearly written, precise, and easy to read. The tables are well constructed and remarkably clear. The sections are divided in a uniquely practical way, making
