Discotest is a series of patient management problems transformed from the usual paper and pencil latent-image format popular for many years, on to micro-computer disk. Cases are available for patient problems in internal medicine, dermatology, and intensive care and emergency medicine. Subject areas covered on disk refer to printed material available in the series published periodically as Scientific American Medicine in loose-leaf binders. The interactive programs are published quarterly and are distributed to enrollees of the Scientific American Medicine Continuing Medical Education Program.
