With this program, the health care professional can estimate appropriate doses of aminoglycosides (gentamicin, tobramycin, and amikacin) or digoxin on the basis of input variables such as the patient's height and weight, age, sex, and serum creatinine level. Pharmacokinetic parameters are calculated and used to determine minimum and maximum levels of drug in the serum after the dose and time interval between doses have been entered.
