The third collection of poems from an accomplished physician-poet whose work has been reviewed before in these pages. He brings a contemplative look at mundane occurrences and sharpens our view of what we see before us. Even the act of going fishing is seen with art. His long "Gaudeamus Igitur," a valediction to a graduating class, would be a welcomed substitute for what passes for wisdom in many a medical school in June.
