The purpose of this book is to aid the physician in the diagnosis and management of genetic disease. Over 107 conditions are discussed in as many separate sections. Recognition of the diseases, most characterized by dysmorphia, is aided by a large number of case photographs. Although the photographs vary in quality, many are helpful and actually show details that are too often only described. The book includes diagnostic gems and is remarkably free of serious typographic errors.
The arrangement of the sections is consistent. The cardinal clinical features are presented succinctly, then theclinical picture and illustrative case reports are followed
