In the brief report by Schubiger and associates (1) in the February issue, the Kinderspital Lucerne, Switzerland, was a submitting institution. Also, the fifth and sixth sentences in the fourth paragraph should have read:
Radioassays for angiotensin converting enzyme activity (Kit Ventrex, Portland, Maine), plasma renin activity (6), active and total renin (7), and elalapril (8) were done in duplicate using a total of 470 μL plasma and angiotensin II was measured in another 700 μL.
The third sentence in the last paragraph should have read:
In newborns, physiologic renal perfusion pressure is low and glomerular nitration appears
