The recent phenomenon of end-user computer searching makes it possible to search the literature right from the patient's bedside. With full text of some documents available online, a trip to the library may be eliminated. As the amount of medical literature grows clinicians have an increasing demand to learn how to access this material quickly and efficiently themselves.
