Each year we ask students to undertake the formidable task of learning internal medicine. Several aids are available to help students in this task. The classic texts, such as Harrison's and Cecil, are invaluable. However, in this age of expanding information in almost every area of internal medicine, students need more than the voluminous sources traditionally available; they need major sources of information in a more easily retrievable form.
