Traditional medical textbooks, although comprehensive, often ignore topics encountered in office practice, and books on outpatient care often are limited to problems with ambulatory patients. In contrast, this book demonstrates how specialists from major private clinics in the United States care for patients. Accordingly, it contains information from both groups of texts.
