If you have been dismayed by the pedantic, anecdotal, and outdated material in Haagensen's text, you will be delighted with this book. Although its focus is on breast cancer, it has a nice section on benign breast disease. It is long overdue and should be a welcome addition to the libraries of oncologists and others interested in breast cancer.
In spite of multiple authorship, the style is uniform, and it reads easily. There are thorough reviews of major subject areas accompanied by thoughtful interpretive analyses and practical cost-conscious summaries.
The book is arranged well. Charts, graphs, and photographs are selected
