Computers are increasingly being used to help physicians and other health care providers manage large amounts of data on complex patients. No group of patients would better benefit from this approach than patients having hemodialysis. These patients often have several complicating illnesses, are on various medications, and have frequent laboratory testing. Recordkeeping in an outpatient hemodialysis setting is often a nightmare. This program attempts to bring some order to this often chaotic situation. In addition, it can track peritoneal dialysis patients and do dialysis Kinetics, the mathematical analysis of the adequacy of dialysis.
