In the past two decades, there has been a tremendous resurgence of interest in clinical neuropsychology. Not surprisingly, many excellent books have been written to assist clinicians in assessing patients with cognitive disturbances. Dr. Kapur, head of the neuropsychology service at the Wessex Neurological Center in Southhampton, has written a book that specifically reviews the memory disorders associated with various neurologic disorders.
Neurologic conditions such as cerebrovascular disease, head trauma, Alzheimer disease, and epilepsy produce neuropsychological manifestations far beyond memory loss; thus, the focus of this book is too narrow to be of practical value to the clinical neurologists for
