This software program was written to allow clinicians to screen a patient's drug profile for potential drug interactions and to look up a given drug side effect to determine which agent might be responsible. The documentation booklet is concise and simple to read and the program's menu-driven format is easy to use. However, this software has problems that limit its usefulness.
First, the program only allows the user to input a drug by those brand names listed in complete monograph form in one of the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) publications. The user cannot enter a drug by generic name or
