A remarkable consortium of endocrinologists, pediatric endocrinologists, radiologists, urologists, surgeons, and pathologists has produced a volume that addresses practically all clinical aspects of the adrenal gland. Vaughan and Carey have organized the selected contributions in a logical and progressive manner. The chapter on adrenal pathology by Ambersome and Gray is particularly good.
The chapters on the imaging of the adrenal provide much new information, particularly about computed tomography (CT) scanning and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of the adrenal glands. Together, these two chapters and another on the clinical aspects of adrenal cortical carcinoma are extremely helpful in solving the dilemma
