Reviews the contemporary methods of imaging with special consideration of how they are applied in pulmonary diagnosis and then presents in detail imaging methods for, and findings in, the airways and in vascular, malignant, diffuse, and focal lung diseases. The next-to-last chapter discusses imaging in interventional procedures. Unusual (for medical monographs of this kind) attention to the history of methods and their applications. Copious use of illustrations; those of computed tomographs are of notably high quality. A monograph for the specific needs of radiologists and pulmonary physicians.
