This clinically oriented general textbook has many sections on cancer biology. It is similar in organization to other comprehensive works on cancer medicine: Initial chapters about various aspects of fundamental science are followed by sections on general principles of cancer treatment and chapters on specific types of malignancy. The work is oriented more toward the surgeon than toward a general medical readership, as indicated by detailed sections on such topics as Moh microsurgery and the use of thermal knives in cancer surgery.
