Although this monograph's main orientation is indicated by its title, much of its content could be useful to endocrinologists, pulmonary-medicine specialists, neurologists, cardiologists, and others concerned with nonsurgical aspects of such lesions as parathyroid tumors and mediastinal primary and secondary tumors, vascular masses, thymic tumors, and cysts. The syndromes and lesion groups are considered by both pathologic and clinical features. Heavily documented; generously illustrated with anatomic and surgical-procedure drawings, diagrams, diagnostic images, histologic sections, and illustrations of gross lesions.
