Samet and Spengler extended the "deadline" beyond their state-of-the-art review "Indoor Air Pollution," published in the American Review of Respiratory Diseases. This paper-bound monograph is designed as a comprehensive source for a broader audience than health care providers alone. The commentary on the biomedical issue of indoor air quality incorporates many perspectives and should be of interest to engineers, policy developers, and attorneys.
