Basically a detailed textbook on all aspects of case interpretation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of all problems likely to be seen in emergency services. Opens with chapters on interpretations and methods applicable to a wide range of specific problems, goes on with two chapters on organization of services, then proceeds into detailed review of systemic problems and other categories such as pediatrics and environmental injuries. Closing chapters take up emergencies in disabled persons, "high-technology" problems, and use of imaging methods. Selective bibliographies; very detailed index.
